The worlds oldest blogger Spanish Grandmother Maria Amelia Lopez who started her blog two years ago as died at the age of 97. Her grandchildren introduced her to the internet and she wrote "On December 2006, my grandson gave me a present, this blog when I was 95 years old and my life changed."
Her blog amis95.blogspot became a global success with 1.5 million hits. In one of her last posts she wrote "when I'm on the internet, I forget about my illness. The distracton is good for you. Being able to communicate with people wakes up the brain, it gives you great strength."
